Coldest Night of the Year Walk is is a fun, family-friendly fundraiser that raises money for the hungry, homeless, and hurting across Canada. It happens on the last Saturday in February to raise awareness and funds for local charities addressing homelessness in their communities. They pick that day because it happens to be Canada's coldest day of the year, on average. Rain, Snow, or whatever the weather brings us on that day, we walk. Perhaps, in a little way, we come to appreciate the challenges of many who walk this weather regularly.
The White Rock walk is hosted by Sources Community Resources Society. They are very close to raising their goal of $70,000. You can help them get all the way there by clicking HERE!
Bundle up and accomplish something remarkable by joining in on the fun this Saturday February 25th! You can get more information HERE.
